Personal Motto: Work hard, play harder!
Born and raised here in the City of Angels, Reilly grew up playing sports and training in martial arts. After getting a business degree from Boston College, Reilly returned home to pursue a career in the fashion industry. But in the arena of Reilly's passions, combat knocked out couture, and before he knew it, Reilly was ensconced in the local Muay Thai scene. He quickly built up an impressive win record and eventually turned his vision quest to Bangkok, Thailand, to train with the best Thai boxers in the world. This tenure in Thailand would culminate in winning the King's Birthday tournament in 2001, becoming the only American to ever do so. This triumph inspired Reilly to return to Los Angeles in 2002 and open up the Bomb Squad Gym, where he could help others achieve their goals. Reilly quickly reestablished his presence in the Muay Thai community, this time as a highly sought-after trainer. Between Reilly's striking expertise and the residency of Eddie Bravo's 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu, the Bomb Squad Gym developed a rep for being a stronghold where serious fighters could build their fighting skill sets. By 2006, mixed martial arts was more popular than ever, and with Reilly already in demand as a striking coach, the synergy to open a full-fledged MMA gym. As such, Reilly teamed up with former heavyweight champions Randy Couture and Bas Rutten to form LA's first premiere MMA facility, Legends MMA Training Center. Since that time, Reilly has organized a team of current and future stars, such as Conor Heun, Dan Hardy, Jorge Oliveira, and Chris Brady. Legends is also the preferred training facility for some of the top MMA fighters when they're in Los Angeles, including Mirko Cro Cop, Quinton Rampage Jackson, Chuck Liddell, Jason Mayhem Miller, Gina Carano, and Andrei Arlovski.

Having trained under Jean-Jacques Machado for over a decade, Eddie is best known for being the first American to score a high-profile submission victory over a Gracie family member, when he tapped out Royler Gracie at the ADCC in 2003. Eddie's philosophy behind his no-gi style of submissions, dubbed "10th Planet Jiu Jitsu," reflects the same value of constant evolution on which MMA is based. It advocates that, like the fusion of individual fight styles in MMA, Jiu Jitsu should constantly be evolving, adopting the best of other techniques and always finding new ways to attack, defend, and counter. While Eddie's track record and credentials speak for themselves, also worthy of note is that 10th Planet satellite schools are popping up in cities throughout Canada and the U.S.
